Should resumes be one page in length?

The debate is ongoing but in my experience, you ideally aim to possess a resume that is recruiter friendly and preferably one page unless you are in a field that requires additional information. For instance if you are an academic or a senior level engineer, you might want to include various projects you spearheaded and helped complete. It’s best to stick with the most current and relevant positions.

You will want to organize your resume in a way that is clear and concise. This means to display your skills and experience in a way that is strategic and shows your organizational nature. It doesn’t hurt to have a professional take a look every now and then if you want to get the maximum results out of your job search and land that interview you’ve been waiting for!
